Hm. How life changes.

So, after tons and tons of stress, fruitless apartment hunting and everything else that was going on, I've decided that I am actually going to go back home after graduation. I know that many people will be upset or saddened by this news (at least I hope ;) ) but I really have given it a lot of thought. New York is awesome, (mostly) but I just don't think at this point that it is a financially viable option for me. Without an IMMEDIATE job that would pay me NOW, I can't afford rent. After crunching numbers all weekend, I've realized that I would have to work completely full time at a job I could get now, like Barnes & Noble, Forever 21, etc., to even possibly pay living expenses. And even then I'm not sure if it would work. I'm just afraid that if I have to focus so much on just surviving, I would get distracted from my ultimate goal of advertising - the thing that I just spent 4 years studying and getting a degree in.

It's going to be an emotional couple of months - hell, it already has been. I feel like my life has been turned upside down the last few months and I am so happy to at least have a plan. One that doesn't cost me a ton. I am going to miss everyone in New York SO MUCH!! :( That is THE biggest thing that makes this hard - people already know that I'm not that fond of NYC in general, but the incredible friends that I've made here have given it a special place in my heart.

So, we will rock graduation, and have a KICK-ASS time tomorrow night!!! And, I will visit - so this isn't goodbye! :D

I love all of you!! <3

I haven't died! And...go see StarTrek!!

Whew, I kinda dropped off the face of the earth for a bit there. My final survey is finished and I've been recuperating the rest of the week. The only thing between me and graduation is this stupid essay I have to write for my Ethics class. I have no more classes - EVER (unless I go back to school, which is not likely for a while, if ever), but this paper is hanging over my head like a brick. 10 pages about Hobbes, Rousseau, and Kant's views on animal rights. Bleh. Oh well, I need this class to graduate, so I'll suck it up and write.

Oh, and by the way, I WANT TO SEE THE STAR TREK MOVIE AGAIN! Yes, it was that awesome. :) You should totally go see it! I'm not really a Trekkie, but I could definitely get into it, and even if you are, my friend who is way more into it than I am said that it was still awesome and that they snuck in awesome references and stuff. So, everyone wins! :D

Fuck Yeah, Cilantro! <3

I think I found my soul mate. Mon and I discovered an awesome site yesterday: Fuck Yeah, Cilantro I think this guy and I were meant to be together...I LOVE cilantro! I used to hate it when I was younger, but I stopped being stupid. Thank God. Life wouldn't be the same without the metallic twang of cilantro making everything more delicious...more incredible...more intense....more....*drool*

Incredible Stop-Motion Piece

I have always loved stop-motion. A lot of my favorite projects of mine are stop-motion pieces. So, it's no surprise that I LOVE this piece:

Thanks, Mon (and Twitter!) for showing it to me!
